Packages, Pricing & Options
We offer three visual effects packages to meet your needs:
Silver, Gold and Platinum.
The main difference between the packages is the visual effects that are made for the video (i.e. how the photos look in the video). The Silver package is the simplest-looking video. The Platinum has the most visual effects and the Gold is in the middle. Samples and pricing for each package are below.
IMPORTANT! There is no minimum or maximum number of photos you can have for any of the effects packages. It all depends on how long you want the video slideshow to be. For planning purposes, you can figure about 10 photos for 1 minute of video. So, if you want a 5-minute video, that would be about 50 photos. If you want a 30-minute video, that would be about 300 photos. Call us for an estimate at 952.292.7003.
Silver Effects Package
The Silver effects package is a basic, straight-forward, no-frills package with minimum special effects. It's a great way to simply and easily see your pictures and preserve your memories.

plus $1.00 per image
Gold Effects Package
The Gold effects package includes some enhancements to make the DVD slideshow a little more dramatic. It adds some motion on the photos (i.e. zooming, panning, rotation) to give them some interest, as well as different transition options between photos.
Base Cost of $145

Platinum Effects Package
The Platinum effects package is the most advanced. It utilizes a wide range of effects to showcase individual photos, or groups of photos. It incorporates custom special effects, slide transitions, backgrounds, layering, titles, and much more to create a sophisticated, professional, entertaining presentation.

What the cost includes
- Professional scanning of all photos and related materials (i.e. newspaper articles, invitations, etc.)
- Whether your photos are already digital (like from a phone) or if we scanned them, basic photo enhancement, such as sharpening, basic color correction, cropping and normal red-eye removal is included. If photos require more extensive photo restoration, it is available at additional cost. While basic red-eye removal is included, the removal of "white-eye" is not. White-eye usually requires additional photo enhancement ad additional cost.
- Normal organization/handling of photos (both real and digital). If additional re-organizing or manually re-numbering of digital photos is required that may be additional cost.
- Creating, designing and producing the video based on the effects package you requested
- Music is included in the price for all packages. We purchase the music legally and expertly integrate each song into the video. Some ideas for music are found here.
- We setup an on-line preview of the full, completed video so you can review the video several times and make minor changes, if needed. Click to see a how the on-line preview works.
- Once the on-line preview is approved, we process the final high-definition video and then produce the format(s) you want to watch the video.
- The package cost includes designing and producing the high-definition video. The final formats to watch the video are NOT included in the package cost. They are additional cost, depending on which format(s) you want.
- Available formats at additional cost are: DVDs, high-definition video file on a flash drive, high-definition video file sent in a download link and/or a private streaming webpage. Costs for the various formats are listed below.
Ways to watch the video
There are several ways for you to watch the video. Details on each option and the costs are outlined below. You can purchase multiple formats, depending on how you plan on watching the video, now and in the future.
DVDs are $20 each plus shipping if they are produced and shipped with the original order. DVDs ordered AFTER the original order are $30 plus shipping.
The video will be produced in a high-definition video file and put on a flash drive that will be shipped to you. The cost is $20 plus shipping. Once you have that HD file you can do whatever you want with it. It's yours!. The file can be copied and pasted just like any other file.
The video will be produced in a high-definition video file and setup as a download link. The link will be emailed to you. The HD video file download is $20. We send you an email with a download link for the video file. Once you receive the email with the link, you download the file onto your computer. Once you have the actual video file, you can do whatever you want with the file. The file can be copied and pasted just like any other file.
We can setup a private webpage for your video. This is not a public webpage. You have control over who sees it. You send the link only to those people whom you want to share the video. It's a great, easy way to share the video with others. With the webpage, the video can be watched on any device, anytime, anywhere, as long as you have internet access (wifi, or cell coverage). Once setup, we email you a link to the video that you can save for future viewing and/or share it with others.
The webpage link is $45 for 30 days. After 30 days, if you want to continue keeping the webpage live, it's $60 per year.
With the webpage, you can also download the video file directly from the page. Once you have the actual video file, you can do whatever you want with the file. The file can be copied and pasted just like any other file.
Additional Options
Below are features, options and enhancements to the video slideshow that may be additional cost. Click on an item to open.
Normal time to organize photos/materials is built into the cost for scanning, downloading, etc. But if a project requires extensive organizing of photos, materials, music, etc., additional costs will be incurred. For example, if large numbers of photos are sent via email and they have to be downloaded, organized and re-numbered, that would be additional cost. The cost depends on what has to be done, how many photos are involved, and the timing.
Captions are short phrases (usually 1-5 words) that are added to a photo, like a name or date. Approximately 5% of captions on photos are included with each package at no charge. You can have as many captions as you want, but if more than 5% of photos have captions, that would be at additional cost of $3 per caption. For example, if you had 100 photos, about 5 captions would be included. You can certainly have more than 5 captions, but anything over 5 would be additional cost.
Specially designed slides with longer text/messages with special effects (i.e. testimonials, psalms, prayers, etc.). Pricing is based on the complexity of the slide and the effects needed (i.e. scrolling text, Star Wars effect, etc.).
Video clips no longer than 2 minutes each can be added to your video slideshow at $20 for each added clip. We can handle most formats. IMPORTANT: $20 per clip assumes that you provide the clip, not the entire tape or video. If we have to go through a tape or video and extract a clip, additional charges will apply. If significant editing is required on clips, additional charges may apply. Please let us know where in the main video each clip should be added.
Audio or sound clips can be added to your video slideshow. The preferred format is mp3, but we can convert any format. Please let us know over which images the audio(s) should be placed. If significant editing is required on clips, or if extensive timing coordination between the audio and the photos is required (like for a script), additional charges may apply.
Basic photo enhancements such as cropping and red-eye removal, are included on all images. Additional enhancements such as color exposure, contrast, correction of minor surface flaws, removal of minor unwanted objects and sharpening are available for additional cost. The cost will be determined by the extent of the restoration needed.
Adding narration/voice over to the video slideshow is possible. This is a custom feature. Either you can provide a pre-narrated piece or we can do it. We use professional voice over artists. Adding narration can be quite complex. The cost will be determined by the extent of the narration and complexity. Additional time will be required to design and produce a video with narration.
Typical lead-time minimums for most projects is 10 business days from the time your materials are received. Expedited charges will apply if there are less than 10 business days from the time materials are received to the time the final video has to be completed. The charge for expedited turn-around depends on the package selected, the complexity of the project and the actual turn-around time required. Projects with 24-hour turn-around will be more expensive than a project with a 5-day turn-around. Prices listed are minimums and can be higher depending on the project, situation and timing. Please note that rush charges are only to produce the video. Expedited shipping like FedEx/UPS is additional cost.

Normal shipping is setup using Priority Mail from the Post Office, which typically is 3-4 days, but that is not guaranteed. Expedited, guaranteed shipping options are available through several companies like the Post Office (Express Mail), FedEx and/or UPS, including 2nd day, overnight and Saturday delivery. Additional charges will apply for these expedited services. Typically, those charges are roughly $100 for overnight and $55 for 2nd day. For local orders only, we can also pick-up materials and drop off the final DVD when completed.
If you order DVDs, we can format your DVD to play continuously. When the video ends, it automatically starts again from the beginning. It will continue to play over and over until you stop it. Continuous play DVDs are good for any type of event (i.e. birthday, rehearsal dinner, memorial services). The cost to format the DVDs for continuous play is $15 and is good for as many DVDs as you order at the same time. Please note that, unlike DVDs, video files CANNOT be produced to play continuously. In order to play a video file continuously, you will need to change video player settings. That setting depends on which player you use.
A photo DVD contains all the scanned images used in your DVD slideshow or video. They are $15 each pus shipping
